Castalides Édition

Castalides Édition AOC

Castalides Édition is the wine that won the most medals in the past years. The absolute highlight were 94 Parker points for the 2011 vintage.
It is an elegant, delicate cuvee from Syrah and Grenache Noir. We harvest the grapes from locations that belonged to the newly established AOP Pézenas; they therefore have the official classification “prime locations in the Languedoc,”which is comparable to the classification of Grand Cru Classé in the Bordeaux.

Variety: Syrah, Grenache Noir
Character:

warm, firy dark fruit, fruit in rum, toasty aromas, notes of bay-leaf and pepper, long finish accompanied by ripe blackberries and aromas of vanilla.
