The La Grange ‘Terroir’ wines are mostly from one variety and one particular location. They reveal the beauty of the varieties and the specific characteristics of the terroir on which they grow. ‘Terroir’ wines are clear personalities and have a nice balance of fruit, body, and acidity.
Tradition
Wines for festive occasions
With this line we return to the tradition of the wines for festive occasions, wines that the vintners in the Languedoc made for the extraordinary family feasts. Such wines were made from vineyards that had relatively small yields and that were cultivated with special care.
Castalides
Great wines from top locations
The wines from the Castalides line are of the highest quality. They are an homage to the water nymphs – the ‘Castalides’ – who guard the numerous wells at La Grange and make sure that there is always a sufficient water supply, truly a blessing in the hot Languedoc. The grapes come from our oldest and best vineyards.
